Spotify rolls out personal account streaming on United seatback screens

Spotify rolls out personal account streaming on United seatback screens Image: Primary
Spotify says personal account streaming is rolling out on seatback displays aboard United's Starlink-equipped aircraft. Passengers can pair their accounts through a QR code to access saved libraries, recommendations and playlists, replacing the earlier experience limited to curated Spotify content. Both Free and Premium listeners can use the app without a Wi-Fi pass or MileagePlus sign-in. Features depend on plan and market. Accounts automatically log out at the end of the flight, and the rollout will expand to additional aircraft through 2027.
