Apple has updated its insider trading policy to prohibit employees from using confidential information in prediction markets, 9to5Mac reported. The policy appeared with the company's fiscal 2026 Form 10-K published Tuesday. The restriction covers information about Apple and other companies obtained through work, including suppliers, manufacturers, vendors and customers. Employees also may not pass confidential information to others who could use it in those markets. The prohibition applies even when a transaction does not constitute insider trading or securities trading under applicable law.
