PaperCut issues second emergency patch for exploited server flaws Image: Primary
PaperCut released a second emergency update for two vulnerabilities reported as actively exploited in PaperCut NG and MF. The flaws, CVE-2026-81578 and CVE-2026-82078, can reportedly be chained to bypass authentication and execute code on vulnerable servers. Release 2 adds hardening beyond the first emergency patch, and PaperCut urges customers to install it even if they applied the initial fix. The release covers versions 24 through 26 on Windows, Linux and macOS.
