Google has agreed to backstop $1.4 billion in new lease obligations for TeraWulf's Lake Mariner AI data-center campus, raising its stated total support to $3.2 billion, according to Startup Fortune. Fluidstack, rather than Google, holds two 10-year contracts for more than 200 MW of critical IT load, later expanded by a 160-MW building. The reported arrangement pairs Google's lease guarantee with warrants that lift its stake in TeraWulf to roughly 14%.
