ChatGPT dots review identifies memory and enterprise control limits

Testing the Practical Value of ChatGPT's New "Dots" Feature: Time-Saving Benefits and Limits of Task Automation Image: Primary
A BigGo Finance review found that ChatGPT's dots agents can automate recurring research and spreadsheet work, but retain information from disconnected apps and operate outside enterprise model restrictions. The agents continue working on dedicated cloud computers between conversations and can use apps already authorized in ChatGPT. The review described a research and Excel task completed in roughly 10 minutes, while also reporting tool failures and memory constraints in testing. Users cannot delete individual stored memories; removing them requires deleting the entire dot. Sending messages, sharing files and purchases with saved cards require approval. Business data is excluded from AI training by default, but that policy does not remove information the agent has already stored.
