Black Ore opens tax preparation platform to smaller accounting firms

Black Ore opens tax preparation platform to smaller accounting firms Image: Primary
Black Ore says it has launched a version of Tax Autopilot for small and mid-sized accounting practices, with per-return pricing, no enterprise contract commitments and no five-figure minimum. The company announced the offering at Intuit Connect in Las Vegas. The platform takes source documents, prepares returns and links figures back to their sources while flagging items requiring attention. It can deliver completed returns directly into Intuit ProConnect Tax and Intuit Lacerte, allowing firms to retain their existing tax software. ProConnect Tax users receive migration support from Intuit and Black Ore. Black Ore says firms can begin using the service in less than a day. Accounting professionals retain final authority over signing off on returns.
