Lennar Mortgage discloses security incident affecting 60,526 Texans
Image: Primary Lennar Mortgage disclosed a data security incident that may have exposed sensitive information for certain individuals. The company said an unauthorized party used social-engineering tactics to access some systems between May 26 and June 1. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton's office listed 60,526 affected Texans.
Lennar said the potentially involved data included names, contact details, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, government identification and financial-account information. It completed its assessment on Aug. 4 and is offering affected people two years of identity monitoring.
