Quint Computing raises €9.1 million for quantum processor development Image: DCD
German quantum computing startup Quint Computing raised €9.1 million in Series A funding led by Vsquared Ventures, DCD reported. Quantonation, Nucleus Capital, Faber, Vanagon Ventures and ZOHO.VC also participated. The company separately received a €2.2 million European Innovation Council Pathfinder grant. Quint says the funding will expand its research and engineering team, accelerate technology development and advance its first industrial deployment projects. Founded in 2025 as a university spinout in Erlangen, it is developing a superconducting chip architecture intended to prevent errors within circuit elements. Its claimed reduction in complexity, hardware overhead and energy consumption by a factor of 100 is an expectation.
