About a hundred protesters entered a Microsoft data center construction site in Amsterdam, Tom's Hardware reported, citing Reuters. Pure Data Centers, which owns the site, asked those present to leave safely and discuss their concerns. The Stop Dirty Data Centers coalition plans actions across 16 countries on November 6 and 7, with its website listing 85 locations. It is calling for an immediate moratorium on large European data centers. Microsoft said it respected peaceful expression but did not condone unlawful action.
