Salesforce introduces Koa Decisions with image and audio support

Salesforce introduced Koa Decisions, a successor to its HyperClassifier request-routing model that adds support for images and audio. Built by applying new training techniques to Google's Gemma model, it reads a request and user-defined categories, then returns a choice in a single step. Salesforce says its decision model handled Agentforce routing requests in roughly 26 milliseconds, compared with about 1.4 seconds for a general-purpose language model. A demonstration is accessible through a free Trailhead account. Extensions into flows, Apex, prompt templates and a developer API are planned.
