Workday opens early access to Sana agents inside Claude

Workday opens early access to Sana agents inside Claude Image: Primary
Workday and Anthropic have opened the Sana in Claude plugin to early access customers, connecting Claude to Workday HR and finance agents. Workday says employees can analyze data and take actions within Claude under their existing Workday permissions and audit controls. Claude and Sana exchange tasks and information through the Model Context Protocol, a standard for connecting AI tools to external systems. Workday Agent-Ready Tools are also generally available through Workday Extend AI. The companies expect general availability of the plugin in late 2026; access to those tools through the plugin is planned for later this year.
