Claude adds read-only bank connections for US paid subscribers

Claude’s new Personal Finance tool aims to help analyze your spending – read-only, of course Image: Primary
Anthropic's Personal Finance feature now lets US Claude Pro, Max and Ultra subscribers connect bank and credit card accounts through Plaid, ZDNET reported. Claude receives read-only access to balances, credit limits and up to two years of transactions, allowing users to ask spending questions and generate tables and charts. Anthropic says conversations inside the Personal Finance hub are excluded from model training. Financial information discussed outside that hub remains subject to users' ordinary Claude privacy settings. The company positions the feature alongside licensed professionals for major financial decisions.
