Vercel removes Blob store limits and begins billing for store creation
Image: Primary Vercel now lets customers create unlimited Blob stores on every plan, removing previous caps of 100 on Hobby, 500 on Pro and 1,000 on Enterprise. Creating a store now counts as a Blob Advanced Operation: Pro customers pay $5.00 per million operations, while Hobby users draw on their 2,000 free monthly operations. Deleting a store is free.
Separate stores can give production and preview environments different credentials or keep each customer's data apart in a multitenant app. Vercel says storage, operations and data transfer remain billed according to use, so dividing the same data among more stores does not itself change those charges.
