SEMICON India 2026's second day produced 25 announced collaborations across chip manufacturing, materials, logistics, packaging and workforce development. India Semiconductor Mission and Nippon Express signed an MoU on semiconductor logistics, while MeitY, the Ministry of Power and POWERGRID agreed to support silicon-carbide power modules for a planned pilot at POWERGRID's 1,000 MW Pusauli project in Bihar. Tata Electronics also announced materials, gas-distribution and packaging partnerships. The announcements describe agreements and planned work rather than completed industrial deployment.
