Apple says its first touchscreen MacBook Pro starts at $2,899

Apple says its first touchscreen MacBook Pro starts at $2,899 Image: Primary
Apple opened preorders on October 28 for its first touchscreen MacBook Pro, starting at $2,899 for the 14-inch M5 Pro model. Deliveries begin November 6. The tandem OLED display integrates the touch sensor directly into the panel. macOS translates touches into clicks for existing apps, and updated gesture APIs let developers build specific touch interactions. Configurations reach up to 128GB of unified memory and 16TB of storage. External display support depends on the chip: up to three with M5 Pro and up to four with M5 Max.
