L3Harris plans to invest approximately $3 billion in missile production capacity after receiving approximately $11 billion in PAC-3 and THAAD contract awards, management said during its third-quarter earnings call. Roughly 25% of the investment targets supply-chain capacity, including additional suppliers and equipment modernization. The company expects PAC-3 solid rocket motor deliveries to double again in 2027 and targets THAAD motor deliveries at triple the 2026 level. Management reduced its 2028 free cash flow outlook to $3 billion from $3.5 billion, citing retirement contributions, lower anticipated margins and accelerated missile investments.
