Anthropic IPO investors discuss lower $1.2 trillion to $1.3 trillion valuation

Prospective Anthropic IPO investors are discussing a valuation of $1.2 trillion to $1.3 trillion, down from the $1.4 trillion to $1.5 trillion range communicated to bankers days earlier, epyhia reported, citing Bloomberg through Investing.com. Anthropic declined to comment on the valuation discussions. The reassessment follows Thursday's 6.4% decline in the Nasdaq 100. Reuters reported that the roadshow was expected to begin the week of November 9, with pricing the following week, but four people familiar with investor discussions questioned whether that timetable could hold. Investors are seeking a lower valuation and awaiting Anthropic's October revenue figure.
