AWS expands CloudWatch log centralization to GovCloud and 13 commercial regions

AWS says CloudWatch log centralization is now available in both AWS GovCloud (US) regions and 13 additional commercial regions. The service copies logs from multiple AWS accounts and regions into one destination account for centralized monitoring, using AWS Organizations to aggregate them without custom solutions. Organizations can apply centralization rules across their entire organization, specific organizational units or selected accounts. Enriched system fields preserve the logs' source context. GovCloud and commercial customers can each centralize logs within their respective partition. Customers can centralize one copy of logs for free; additional copies cost $0.05/GB.
