Pine59 has moved its production workloads to Google Cloud's Managed Airflow Gen 3 running Apache Airflow 3, according to a Google Cloud post. The location-intelligence company uses the system to orchestrate data pipelines and machine-learning inference, including a Daily Foot Traffic job covering as many as 14 million locations. Pine59 said the job's runtime fell from nearly 38 minutes to less than 26 minutes after the migration and internal DAG changes. It also separated orchestration from inference by using a dedicated GKE cluster.
