Waymo's Texas robotaxi fleet grew 49% in three weeks

An influx of Waymo's new Ojai minivans drove the increase; they now make up about a third of its Texas fleet.
Waymo offers rides in 15 U.S. cities and averages 500,000 paid rides a week, but its vehicles remain concentrated geographically. About 80% of its roughly 4,000 robotaxis are in California and Texas, leaving about 800 across other states.
