Ex-Tesla scientist unveils plans for European humanoid robot
Image: Primary Rémi Cadene, co-founder and CEO of Paris-based startup UMA and a former scientist who worked on Tesla's Optimus humanoid robot, unveiled plans for a lightweight humanoid robot called Northstar. Cadene said the artificial intelligence-powered Northstar robot will target Europe first and the company is already talking to 50 potential customers about use cases for manufacturing plants, logistics warehouses and homes, Bloomberg reported.
