Anthropic expands free Claude credits through scientific partnerships

Anthropic logo Image: Primary
Anthropic says it has expanded its AI for Science program through partnerships with 20 scientific foundations, institutions and research groups, providing free Claude credits for scientific work. Funders including the Sloan and Simons foundations will distribute credits to researchers, while institutions will use them internally. Supported projects include genomic reference databases, climate modeling and computer-checkable mathematics. The expansion moves the program beyond individual researchers toward institutional collaborations that can produce open datasets, software and standards. Many collaborations remain at an early stage.
