Microsoft has purchased 616 acres near Woodward in Dallas County, Iowa, for $95.5 million for a planned data center campus, DCD reported, citing Business Record. The seller, TC Austin Acquisitions, bought the property for just more than $30.7m the same day it sold it to Microsoft. Microsoft told residents that it has not decided the campus design or number of buildings. The company estimates two to three years for design and a further two years to construct the first building.
