Google announced new agentic capabilities across Google Ads and Google Analytics on August 10, 2026. The updates include AI Overviews on the Google Analytics homepage that provide instant summaries of performance updates since the user last logged in. Users can click on data cards to send context to Ask Advisor for further analysis and opt into notifications via phone or email. Google Ads homepage now features personalized AI-powered insights cards and a prompt box to generate custom insights. New Dashboards in Google Ads allow users to create visualizations with text prompts and real-time summaries explaining the why behind the data. A new benchmarking feature in Google Analytics compares campaign performance against anonymized averages from similar businesses. Kevin Marshall, Paid Media Director at Gardyn, said Ask Advisor has become his go-to for a directional check on paid media performance.
