Six construction technology startups raised a combined $234 million in funding rounds announced between June and July, Construction Dive reported Tuesday. The outlet said robotics and artificial intelligence companies attracted the bulk of investor interest. TerraFirma secured the largest round at $115 million, including a $100 million Series A led by Kleiner Perkins, according to a July 14 announcement. The Texas-based firm develops semi-autonomous heavy machinery and a remote command platform. Arrakis emerged from stealth with $37.5 million across Seed and Series A rounds led by Blossom Capital and Accel, per a July 22 release. The London and Paris company embeds AI agents into industrial tech stacks. Gritt launched with $32.4 million in pre-Seed and Series A funding led by Obvious Ventures, according to a July 21 announcement. The California startup retrofits robotic arms onto existing equipment. Monumental raised a $32 million Series B led by Khosla Ventures, per a July 15 release. The Amsterdam firm deploys bricklaying robots as a subcontractor. Buildforce closed a $10 million Series A led by Saepio Capital on July 28 for its electrician staffing platform. SubBase raised a $7 million Series A led by FINTOP on June 17 for its material procurement software.
