Apple says iPhone Duo now has over 100,000 optimized apps

Apple says iPhone Duo now has over 100,000 optimized apps Image: Primary
Apple said Friday that over 100,000 apps built for the iPhone Duo are live on the App Store, with thousands more being added daily. The announcement accompanied the release of over a dozen notable apps adapted for the foldable, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Zoom and Etsy. The expansion addresses a limitation highlighted in early reviews: unoptimized apps can leave a black bar beside the interface and hide functions in an overflow menu. Some announced updates have yet to reach users. TechCrunch's review device still showed Spotify with the black bar and no available update. Duo shipping times have also moved into next year.
