Snowflake completes New Zealand Restricted security assessment on AWS

Snowflake completes New Zealand Restricted security assessment on AWS Image: Primary
Snowflake says it has completed an independent third-party assessment of its deployment in the AWS Auckland region against New Zealand's Restricted-level security requirements. The assessment evaluated platform controls against requirements in the New Zealand Information Security Manual. Government agencies can use the resulting control mappings and risk documentation in their own certification and accreditation work, reducing the need to audit the platform's full infrastructure stack. Snowflake says this supports procurement and deployment for public-sector data and AI workloads. Agencies must still complete their own certification and accreditation process before receiving authority to operate, including evaluating their configurations and integrations.
