StepFun released Step 5 Preview on September 18, according to Artificial Analysis. The proprietary reasoning model accepts text and image input, produces text output, and has a one-million-token context window. Artificial Analysis reported an Intelligence Index score of 44, output speed of 99.8 tokens per second, and API pricing of $1 per million input tokens and $2.70 per million output tokens.
