Hyundai wants to buy tens of thousands of Atlas robots from Boston Dynamics
Image: Primary Hyundai Motor Group intends to purchase tens of thousands of Atlas humanoid robots from Boston Dynamics over several years, the South Korean automaker announced. The companies plan to intensify their existing partnership and collaborate more closely on robot development and production. Hyundai will gradually integrate the robots into its automobile production. Boston Dynamics announced initial tests for 2025 in April 2024 after presenting the electric Atlas. The investment amount and per-unit price were not disclosed. Hyundai does not plan to increase its 80 percent stake in Boston Dynamics but aims to support mass production
