Apple ties Home camera AI features to higher iCloud plans

Apple Home's new AI-powered camera summaries, video search and multi-camera clip stitching require higher iCloud Plus storage tiers, according to The Verge. The features cost $9.99 a month for one camera, $29.99 for a second camera and $59.99 for up to five cameras. Existing HomeKit Secure Video features remain available under prior plans, while the updated service also supports 4K video. Apple has not detailed whether higher tiers bring higher limits for Siri AI or other Apple Intelligence features.
