Anthropic IPO amendment discloses $895.4bn in purchase commitments

Anthropic IPO amendment discloses $895.4bn in purchase commitments Image: Primary
Anthropic disclosed $895.4bn in purchase commitments, almost all for computing power and infrastructure, in an amended IPO prospectus filed Monday, The Next Web reported. The filing adds quarterly results to the prospectus published last week and makes official the previously reported $16.8bn quarterly revenue figure. Revenue for the first nine months of 2026 totalled $33.2bn, while the reported net loss reached $104bn. Much of the third-quarter net loss reflected revaluation of convertible notes rather than cash spending. The notes will convert into shares when Anthropic goes public, largely removing that accounting effect.
