Microsoft says Philippine partnership will give Copilot access to 1 million teachers

Microsoft says it will provide 1 million Filipino public-school teachers with access to Microsoft Copilot through a renewed partnership with the Philippine Department of Education. The partnership follows a nationwide AI-skilling program that trained teachers to use Copilot Chat. Microsoft says the tools are intended to support lesson planning, assessments, student-progress summaries and other teaching tasks, with safeguards and responsible-use practices included in the training.
