Snowflake and Oracle plan native Snowflake service on OCI

Snowflake and Oracle plan native Snowflake service on OCI Image: Primary
Snowflake and Oracle announced plans to offer Snowflake on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure as a native service, with customers purchasing directly from Oracle and receiving bills through OCI. The proposed commercial model includes purchases using Oracle Universal Credits. Snowflake says planned integrations would connect Oracle applications and databases with its analytics, AI and data engineering capabilities. Running those workloads alongside Oracle data on OCI could reduce cross-cloud transfers and associated egress costs. Customers would provision accounts through OCI and manage databases, pipelines and access controls with Snowflake tools. The companies have not committed to delivering the planned offerings.
