Meta Hires Dreamer AI Team, Hugo Barra Joins Meta Superintelligence Labs

Meta hired the founding team of Dreamer, an AI startup built by former Google and Stripe executives, and appointed Hugo Barra to its Superintelligence Labs division. Barra previously led Meta's VR efforts and served as VP at Xiaomi and Google. The Dreamer team was working on AI agent technology before the acquisition. Meta's Superintelligence Labs, led by Yann LeCun, is focused on building next-generation AI systems beyond large language models. The hires continue Meta's aggressive push to recruit top AI talent.
