120ft raises €576,000 for proposed robot-operated microfactories

Stockholm startup 120ft has raised €576,000 from 22 angel investors to develop autonomous microfactories staffed by humanoid robots, Unite.AI reported. The funding supports software and factory infrastructure development as the company works toward commercial production. Its proposed factories would combine preparation, assembly, inspection and packing inside three 40-foot containers. 120ft would own and operate the facilities, with brands supplying components and paying for finished products. The company says its software converts product designs and quality requirements into manufacturing instructions and coordinates robots, tooling and checks. Commercial reliability remains unestablished: its announcement provides no detailed testing protocol, success rate or frequency of human intervention.
