Vercel removes prior review requirement for new MCP clients

Vercel removes prior review requirement for new MCP clients Image: Primary
Vercel says any MCP client can now request a connection to Vercel MCP without first undergoing its manual review. Users must still log in and approve each connection; previously, unlisted clients and redirect addresses were rejected. A client now publishes a JSON document on its own domain describing its identity and uses that document's HTTPS address to identify itself during authorization. The consent screen displays the client's name, logo and hosting domain. These clients receive no Vercel verified badge, while already registered apps remain unchanged.
