Orange mobile outage disrupts calls and data across France

Orange mobile outage disrupts calls and data across France Image: Primary
Orange's mobile network suffered a nationwide outage in France on Wednesday, disrupting calls, texts and mobile data from about 11:20 CEST. An Orange spokesperson said technical teams were working to identify the cause and restore service. The disruption also affected Sosh customers and some 5G home internet boxes using Orange's network. Most fibre connections continued working, allowing many customers to communicate over Wi-Fi. Some phones regained signal around 12:20 CEST, but coverage remained patchy. Orange had not given a time for full restoration by publication.
