"After successfully introducing this technology on the HGT range, we are now extending it to additional telescopic rail families," said Andrea Tosi, vice president of technology at Rollon. "The integrated magnets enable an ideal combination of high load capacity and smooth and controlled motion. This development reflects our ongoing commitment to engineering solutions that go beyond meeting technical specifications, addressing the real operational challenges our customers face across industrial applications."
The magnets deliver improved load management, smoother extension, and increased durability under intensive operating conditions. The MG version, available for Sizes 54 and 68 of HVC and Size 68 of H1C, also features a redesigned ball cage with reduced pitch and end blocks incorporating internal magnets. The reduced pitch increases the number of balls within the same cage length, raising load capacity without changing overall dimensions.
The integrated magnets enable a defined motion sequence of the rail elements during extension, improving control and reducing the force required to open the rail. Rollon said the optimized load distribution reduces stress on raceways, contributing to extended service life and more consistent long-term performance.
