Terronova has started the first phase of Campus Campinas outside São Paulo, Brazil. The data-center campus will include a substation with an initial 300MW capacity scheduled for December 2027 and potential expansion to 1GW. Terronova says initial construction investment will exceed $500 million, with further implementation funding planned through 2029. The site is designed for hyperscale operations and will use liquid cooling with a closed-loop water system. Actis launched Terronova last year to develop campuses in Brazil, Mexico and Chile.
