Alibaba opens RADAR medical CT vision-language model

Alibaba's Damo Academy has open-sourced RADAR, a medical vision-language model that the company says can interpret CT scans and identify about 150 abdominal conditions, including cancers. A study published in Science tested the model on nearly 40,000 real-world exams and reported that it outperformed most radiologists. The reported comparison covers abdominal CT exams and the conditions described in the study.
