EIC Scaling Club reports €4.06bn raised by member companies

EIC Scaling Club reports €4.06bn raised by member companies Image: Primary
Companies in the European Innovation Council's Scaling Club have raised €4.06bn since joining, according to a new report from the initiative. The programme supports 120 scale-ups from 26 countries; its analysis uses Dealroom data through 29 September 2026. Some 56% of members closed a funding round after joining, compared with 38% of 240 applicants that were not selected. Around 80% of the capital came through rounds involving the EIC or another public investor. Nine rounds worth more than €100m each accounted for 51% of capital raised. The report cautions that a few breakout companies dominate the results and that the comparison group contains more digital businesses, while half of Club members work in climate technology.
