Benford raises €5 million to build technology-led audit firm
Image: Primary Benford raised €5 million in a pre-seed round led by firstminute capital to build a financial-audit firm serving small and midsized European businesses. Global Founders Capital and Sondo also participated. The Oslo- and London-based company is already registered as an audit firm in Norway and says its AuditOS platform is running client audits.
Benford employs qualified auditors who manage exceptions and sign opinions. Its platform connects with clients' accounting systems, invoices and bank accounts, records each test and its source, and carries prior-year work into subsequent audits. The company did not disclose its valuation.
