Wien Energie adds four Spot robots for plant inspections
Image: Primary Boston Dynamics says Wien Energie is adding four Spot robots at facilities in the Vienna area, expanding its use of the machines for inspections. Wien Energie first deployed Spot at its Simmering Power Plant in 2023. Boston Dynamics says that robot has since completed more than 4,000 inspection routes and walked 1,600 kilometers. The new robots extend a use already established at one plant.
