EC-Council releases expanded AI governance framework free of charge

EC-Council releases expanded AI governance framework free of charge Image: Primary
EC-Council released ADG 2.0 on October 1, replacing its original 12 minimum AI governance controls with more than 180 controls in 12 families. The framework maps those controls to more than 90 regulations, standards and frameworks, including the EU AI Act. The framework, mappings and self-assessment are available without registration or licensing requirements. Controls specify evidence organizations should collect during operation and require human approval at defined decision thresholds. EC-Council also offered governments, regulators and standards bodies free implementation assistance. The mappings help compare requirements across jurisdictions; they do not change those requirements.
