Warp raises $60M Series B

New York City-based Warp raised $60 million in Series B funding, FinSMEs reported on June 26, 2026. Battery Ventures led the round. Participants included Peak XV Partners, Sound Ventures, Y Combinator and individual investors such as Shopify Chief Executive Tobi Lutke and former Stripe Chief Operating Officer Claire Hughes Johnson. The company said it will use the capital to develop deeper AI agents, expand its automated tax and compliance infrastructure and increase its New York workforce to 200 employees from 50 over the next year. Warp develops an AI-first human capital management and workforce operations platform. The system is designed to register tax accounts autonomously, file multi-state compliance returns, resolve agency notices and provision or deprovision corporate IT devices and software. Total funding has reached $85 million in less than a year. The company doubled annualized recurring revenue in the first quarter and is on track to process more than $2 billion in annual payroll volume for clients including enterprise customers and startups such as Bland AI, Serval and Campfire.
