AWS reportedly asks Middle East customers to move data
Image: Primary AWS has told customers using data centers in Abu Dhabi and Bahrain to move data to facilities in other regions, according to a Wall Street Journal report cited by Tom's Hardware. The sites were damaged in drone and missile attacks following February strikes on Iran, and AWS is continuing repairs. The company did not provide a timeline for either affected location to resume operations, the report said. Banking and financial-sector businesses rely on the facilities.
