Factory's Droid coding agent can now execute tasks from Jira

Factory's Droid coding agent can now execute tasks from Jira Image: Primary
Factory's Droid coding agent can now take engineering tasks directly from Jira work items through Rovo Chat and write results back, Atlassian announced. Engineers select the compute environment, model settings and service accounts on first use, with those settings available as defaults for later tasks. The integration retrieves Jira and Confluence context through Atlassian MCP, runs the coding task and streams progress into Jira chat. Factory supports execution on its managed compute, customer infrastructure and fully air-gapped environments. The integration is designed for Jira Cloud customers with Rovo enabled; each Factory organization links to one Jira site.
