Teens sue xAI over Grok-generated CSAM

Three Tennessee teenagers filed a class-action lawsuit against xAI, alleging that the company's Grok AI image generator created child sexual abuse material using their likenesses, The Verge reported. The lawsuit claims Grok generated explicit images of the minors without their consent when other users submitted their photos to the system. xAI's content moderation systems allegedly failed to prevent the generation of CSAM. The case is among the first to test AI companies' liability for harmful content generated by their models using real people's likenesses.
