OpenAI reverses planned Pro allowance cut and announces higher limits

OpenAI reverses planned Pro allowance cut and announces higher limits Image: Primary
OpenAI says it has reversed a planned reduction in ChatGPT Pro 200 usage allowances and is doubling usage limits for Pro 100, 200 and 500 tiers and Business Premium, effective immediately. The changes primarily affect ChatGPT Work and Codex, which share allowances under eligible subscriptions. Existing Pro 200 subscribers will retain their Work and Codex usage rather than face the previously planned cut after October 29. OpenAI also says extended limits for its always-on Dots assistants will continue for now, with Dots usage separate from default usage. The company will not provide exact numerical limits for each tier.
