Rashi Peripherals to acquire VDA in landmark tech deal
Image: Primary Rashi Peripherals will acquire 67% of VDA Infosolutions in a first tranche and the balance in subsequent tranches to secure 100% ownership, the companies announced. The entire transaction values VDA at INR5.5 billion (USD58 million).
LegaLogic counselled VDA on the deal, while Mulla & Mulla and Craigie Blunt & Caroe acted for RP Tech. RP Tech is one of India's fastest growing and consistently profitable listed technology companies, reporting FY26 revenue of INR158 billion. It is among the country's leading national distribution partners for global technology brands, with a pan-India network comprising 56 branches, 50 service centres and 71 warehouses, serving more than 10,300 channel partners.
Established in 2010, Mumbai-based VDA specialises in the design, deployment and management of complex, business-critical technology architectures and systems. It operates across Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad. LegaLogic said the transaction represented a landmark consolidation in India's technology sector underpinned by the complementary strengths of the two businesses.
